Her rep told Us Weekly the exciting news. The couple are already parents to the 23-month-old daughter, Hazel.
The pair have stayed mum on their little girl but Emily has admitted that Hazel is one cute baby.
“I remember when we were in the recovery room and this nurse came in – her name was Mabel, another great old lady name. She had this fantastic, crazy weave and she said, ‘Damn, your baby is so cute!’ And I went, ‘Oh, thank you,’” the 32-year-old recalled.
Hazel Krasinski was born on February 16, 2014. In the words of her baby nurse, “Damn, [she] is so cute!”
“She went, ‘Damn, she’s awesome, she’s so cute.’ And I went, ‘Mabel, I think you say that to everyone,’ and she went, ‘No, I don’t … when I know a baby’s ugly.'”
With such a cute addition to the family, it’s no wonder the couple, who wed in 2010, want to expand.
In August last year John told Entertainment Tonight he’d love to have another child.
“Hopefully one day we will!” The 31-year-old quipped before joking, “One day, I don’t know when. We’ve got to give her some competition at some point.”
Emily and John began dating in 2008 and tied the knot at George Clooney’s Lake Como villa… Talk about fancy!
Emily is currently filming The Girl on the Train alongside Justin Theroux and Lisa Kudrow. Just last year she told Radio Times magazine how motherhood has changed her.
“It changes you infinitely in a rather overwhelming way,” Emily admitted.
“The best way I can describe it is that it’s like this lovely distraction that I always have. It’s always there and I love that feeling.”
