In today’s edition of adorable-news-to-make-you-say-aww, we bring you this heart-warming video of a little girl getting the surprise of her life.
It was just another day for the pint-sized blonde who stood busking on a London street in Sheffield.
She was belting out a delightful rendition of the hit song On My Mind by British superstar Ellie Goulding, when who else but the artist herself ambled over to the scene.
In true 2016 fashion, a lucky bystander captured the endearing moment on film.
The blonde beauty uploaded the adorable video to her Instagram account, accompanied by the caption: “Heard this little delight singing On My Mind as we drove by.”
In the video, we see the little girl’s shock as her idol drops by her street performance. The 29-year-old knelt down in front of the girl to give her a quick hug and compliment her on her beautiful voice.
“You’ve just been singing my song – it was really good!” she quipped.
The girl’s father can be heard saying: “Her name is Ellie too!” to which Ellie responded by saying: “Oh really? Hi! Can I have a hug? Let’s have a hug.”

A pedestrian named James Sockett was present at the scene for the adorable moment, he told the Yorkshire Post that the recording artist came across as a “genuine” person.
“After she’d finished she again said how good she was again, put some money in her collection – jumped back in the van and on her way – all in the space of five minutes!”
“You could see how genuine Ellie was and how she was enjoying it. It’s nice to see the celebs taking time out like this to see their fans.”
Ellie is currently touring the world and performing for packed out arenas for her Delirium tour.
