5 things we learnt from Cindy Crawford's latest candid video clip

The supermodel let us in on a few of her secrets.

By Jacqui King
Iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford has been featured in Vogue’s 73 Questions, and we get a deep dive on her family life, marriage, modelling career and of course, her stunning Malibu, California, home. Here are just a few of the incredible things we learnt from this catwalk queen.
1. Her house is jaw-droppingly gorgeous
As you’d expect from a star like Crawford, her humble abode is the home of your dreams. Overlooking the ocean, the amazing pad has an infinity pool, round jacuzzi, outdoor firepit, floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning décor – think neutral tones and dark wood throughout.
2. She and her hubby are still so in lurrve
Cindy and her long-time husband Rande Gerber are still keeping the love alive. So, how do they do it? “You know, we actually still really like each other and we make sure that we spend a lot of time together,” she said in the interview.
When asked about her biggest surprise, she confessed: “My husband managed to sneak a piano into our house one Christmas morning.” Cuuuute!
3. She knows the secret to ageing gracefully
The 51-year-old superstar looks like she hasn’t aged a day, and her secret behind it is a pretty simple one. “Be happy,” she said.
She did reveal a few more of her beauty secrets. Her must-have products are sunscreen, lip gloss and mascara, and her night-time beauty routine involves washing her face and applying beauty serum and night cream.
The whole Crawford/Gerber clan!
4. Kaia is the spitting image of her mum
But we guess we knew that already. In the clip, 15-year-old Kaia makes a few appearances, as does her 18-year-old brother, Presley. Kaia reveals that her mum’s nickname for her is Kiki and Presley’s is P. She also jumps in and answers the next questions for her, like "what’s your favourite thing about your kids?" "That we’re amazing,” Kaia says. Obviously.
Crawford also has her kids’ artwork framed (like Kaia’s self-portait and her son Presley’s surf photography) and later says that her favourite part about being a mum is unconditional love. Yup, Crawford has officially won the ‘World’s Best Mum’ award.
5. She has a dirty sense of humour
This interview really lets us see the playful, sassy side of Crawford – and we are loving every second of it. She says of her humour: “Well, everyone in my family thinks I have a very inappropriate sense of humour at times.”
She also confesses a few more tidbits about herself, like her favourite food (“Caviar,” she says simply) and sharing a bed with George Clooney. (Yup, that happened).
