Chrissy Teigen just won the internet. Again.

John Legend is known for a great many things.

A whopping ten Grammy awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, his stunning wife Chrissy Teigen… and a striking resemblance to Arthur.

Yep, ‘Arthur Read’ as in the Arthur the aardvark cartoon.

News of the “Love Me Now” singer’s animated mini-me first came to our attention over the weekend when Twitter user Emily Sowah shared a picture of John, 38, alongside the beloved aardvark.

She captioned the side-by-side image, “John Legend look like Arthur lowkey.”

… and swiftly broke the internet.

The tweet quickly went viral, prompting a slew of images and memes featuring John and Arthur together, and it wasn’t long before social media users began to wonder what John’s better half thought of the comparison.

Not one to shy away from comedic opportunity, Chrissy responded to the brouhaha with her signature wit in tow.

Sharing an image of Arthur’s clenched fist – already a beyond-popular internet meme – Chrissy perfectly captured the mood of the masses.

She captioned the shot: “John when you tell him he looks like Arthur.”

Just in case you needed yet another reason to love Chrissy Teigen, the 37-year-old has also been known to use her mass social media following to share lessons in body positivity.

Most recently, the model and mother-of-one uploaded a picture of what appeared to be stretch marks on her inner thin, captioning the down-to-earth photo, “Whatevs.”

Chrissy later revealed that she needed a little dutch courage to upload the sensitive photo, writing, “When I drink wine I say ‘whatevs’ and sober Chrissy doesn’t like it.”

“I do not post stretchies for the praise,” she explained.

“I post it because the wine also I like the pattern and they’re so soft.”

This isn’t the first time Chrissy has spoken candidly about body image.

After the birth of her first child in August last year, Chrissy was quick to speak out about the pressure placed on new mums to “bounce back” into shape after the birth of their child.

In an interview with the US Today show, the yummy mummy explained that A-listers have an advantage when it comes to losing weight gained during pregnancy.

“Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything,” she began.

“So I think people get this jaded sensation that everybody’s losing it so quickly, but we just happen to be the ones who are out there.”

“We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies,” she admits of the endless resources available to those in the limelight.

“We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.”

Brava, Chrissy!
