Chrissie’s fans were left in shock when the beloved star was unceremoniously dropped from MIX FM late last year but it seems the 41-year-old will be coming back with a vengeance, returning to her former rival network for a regular weekly appearance on Friday mornings.
"I am truly beside myself to be gate-crashing Fifi and Dave's fantastic breakfast show. And even if it is just once a week, I will try not to ruin it for everyone,’ an elated Chrissie said.
"I have loved Fifi and Dave both for years and we have shared lunches and dinners and coffees and kids birthday parties but now we're sharing a studio and it feels like my life is complete!"
Sources recently revealed that the mum-of-three is a potential candidate to host Network Ten’s new show, The Great Australian Spelling Bee after charming TV audiences all over again on I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of Here!.
Speaking to Melbourne Confidential Chrissie said that she has lots on her plate and is keeping busy.
“I’ve got lots of little things happening, I’ve got much more time during the week, obviously, just doing the radio on Friday mornings,” Chrissie said.
“I’ve been in so many meetings since I got back, I could change my occupation to professional meetings taker.
Congratulations to Chrissie – we can’t wait to see what else she’s got in store for us!
