Good thing they're building a Byron Bay mega mansion, because it looks like the Hemsworth clan is expanding!
Could the pair be preparing to welcome a new bub into their family?
"While she and Chris have spoken about having a fourth child… they put it on the back burner and agreed that if it happened, it happened, but they wouldn't be actively trying," a close source reveals.
Seen cradling her stomach in Byron Bay during the week, the nurturing pose came a day after 42-year-old Elsa's visibly rounder tummy was front and centre on a family day out in Byron.
Dad Chris, 35, would no doubt be thrilled at news of baby number four, having taken to fatherhood like a pro.
"Once we had kids we were like, "we're in it, this is it,'" he recalls, while praising his beautiful soulmate.
"All of a sudden I had a greater appreciation for my wife. She kind of came into her own when we had kids. She certainly keeps me sane. I complain about things, she gets on with it."
In any case, a new bub would already have three rowdy siblings to contend with – India Rose, six, and four-year-old twin boys, Tristan and Sasha.
"When you become a mum, everything that was important goes into second position," says Elsa. "I constantly feel pulled in a million directions… cooking, cleaning and chasing my kids around the house," she adds.
And with their $8 million mega mansion under construction, they'll have plenty of space for a nursery – or three! But with dates already confirmed for Chris' next project, Dhaka, the actor's career may throw a spanner in the works.
"Chris is so in demand, it gets really hard for Elsa," a source spills, while Chris admits his wife put her own movie career on the back burner for their kids.
"In terms of work, she's certainly given up more than I have," the heartthrob shares. "She'd like me to step back and be at home with the kids more, and of course, I want that, too."
While juggling work and family is a balancing act, Chris' priority is still his growing family.
"There's times when I've thought, 'Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered," the Thor star admits. "There's definitely a couple of films I could've put way more energy into, but I was like, "No, I'd rather be with my kids."'
