In a hilarious, candid new interview, Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth and his Huntsman co-star, Charlize Theron revealed that their kids caused total havoc on set by chasing each other around with weapons.

We should clarify – they were prop weapons, of course.

Speaking at a press conference in promotion of the film, the father-of-three admitted that most days on set were ‘take your children to work’ days, which he said changed the entire dynamic of their work.

“There was a whole difference of energy on this because we all had our kids there on set a lot of the time,” the 32-year-old said.

“Normally, the set being this sort of tense, respectful, quiet sort of place. That was just thrown out the window when the kids came. They were chasing each other around with the weapons and yelling, ‘Get him!’ ‘Kill her!’ ‘Do that!’”

“We’re raising them really well,” Oscar-winning actress, Charlize joked in reference to her parenting of adopted son Jackson, four, and daughter August, who she adopted last July.

“Taught them how to survive in a vicious kingdom,” Chris quipped in response of his twin sons Sasha and Tristan, two, and his three-year-old daughter, India.

The cast of the highly-anticipated film attended the film premiere in Los Angeles this week, in which the stars walked the red carpet before attending an official screening.

It was a star-studded, action packed night in which Miley Cyrus and Chris’ brother Liam were spotted together for the first time since rekindling their romance earlier this year (but that’s another story you can see here).

But the lavish evening ended perhaps a lot less glamorously than it began for one star.

When the red carpet was rolled away and when camera’s stopped flashing, it was time for a midnight snack at the Hemsworth’s family home.

Following the premiere, Chris’s stunning wife and fellow actress Elsa Pataky took to Instagram to upload a sweet photo of her hubby whipping up some eggs in the kitchen for his daughter India, still donning his red carpet look.

“Papa making some late snack after premiere,” Elsa, 39, captioned the sweet pic.
