She’s never been one to mince her words, but Cher’s opinion on herself might be her most controversial yet.

The singer and actress, who boasts a Grammy, an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards for her work in music, TV and film, revealed that she struggles with the idea of getting older.

“I just don’t know how to accept it – I don’t want to, either – but I don’t really know how to,” the 70-year-old confessed.

“If I put 70 candles on my cake, I would blow my brains out.”

Despite her incredible accomplishments, the star says she’s “never satisfied” with herself.

She’s had one of the most successful careers in showbiz but the star says she’s “not a fan” of Cher.

Next February, Cher will embark on her “last” ever tour, called Classic Cher, and admitted that she decided to do one more tour because she “didn’t want to be finished.”

Speaking about her decision, she explained, “’The older you are, the harder it is. My voice is still really good. I’m still, you know, active and running around. I can still fit in my costumes, so I thought that this is probably – it’s now or never.”

“The only thing I know is not to give up. I don’t know anything else. I don’t know how to not give up.”

Cher says this farewell tour will be her last.

During the interview, she also opened up about her political views, which she is particularly vocal about on Twitter.

The mother-of-two said she is’t a fan of Donald Trump, saying: “I feel like I’m yelling: ‘Fire!’ and no one is listening.”

“I care about the country, and I know that the people that are following Trump, they care about the country too, but I don’t think it’s the same country I care about.”
