The Bachelorette's Georgia Love took the opportunity to post about the one woman who inspires her the most - her late mum.

Fierce journalist, working mum and all-round Superwoman Carrie Bickmore posted a fun Boomerang encouraging women to, "Go kick some arse today ladies".
Aussie supermodel Megan Gale has some words of wisdom for mother's of boys this International Women's Day. Writing alongside the quote "Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them," she said:
"We've seen this quote a lot but is there ever a more appropriate day to share it? I see a lot of women celebrating the day and their daughters which is lovely. But for those of you who have sons, join me in encouraging our boys to celebrate, respect and love the girls and women in their lives."

International Women's Day for Aussie Journalist Sylvia Jeffreys was all about giving thanks to the women who have empowered her - her sister and her mum.

Superstar actress Nicole Kidman pushed for real change this IWD. She shared a post by the UN Women and captioned it with the following:
