In more devastating news out of Hollywood, Carrie Fisher’s mother, actress Debbie Reynolds, has suffered what is believed to be a stroke, U.S. media are reporting.

This comes just 24 hours after the 84-year-old was dealt the shocking blow that her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher, 60, had died after experiencing a “cardiac episode” on a United flight on December 23.

According to TMZ, Debbie was at her son Todd Fisher’s home in Beverly Hills, when ambulances were called to the property shortly after 1pm.

Sources close to the family are saying that medics were called to treat the star, who is believed to be, understandably, distraught following her daughter’s passing, for a possible stroke.

Debbie has been taken to a nearby emergency room for treatment.
