Australia’s golden girl, Carrie Bickmore launched the inaugural Brainbeats charity event on the weekend as she continues her campaign to create awareness about brain cancer.

Australia’s golden girl, Carrie Bickmore launched the inaugural Brainbeats charity event as she continues her campaign to create awareness about brain cancer.

The beloved Project host, who set up her own foundation, Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, organised a knockout music festival – which featured a lineup of international music stars, including Ed Sheeran.

The 34-year-old looked stunning in cute monochrome playsuit as she welcomed the star-studded crowd including, Joel Creasy, Freddie Flintoff, Megan Gale and Sam Armytage.

Everyone in the crowd and on the stage rocked their beanies, in support of the bubbly blonde, who lost her 34-year-old husband, Greg Lange to the illness in 2010.

“After the Logies speech I was kind of completely overwhelmed by it all, I didn’t know where to start or what to do,” Carried admitted to her panel co-hosts in November.

With the help of the nation, the mum-of-two is well on the way to reaching her goal of $1 million, having raised $290, 414 to date.

Carrie’s Brain Beats 2015 was a raging success!

She kicked off her inaugural charity music festival on December 6.

Carrie had the help of some her fabulous friends including Nova radio host, Tim Blackwell, who MC’ed the event.

The charity gig featured a lineup of international music stars, including Ed Sheeran.

“We found love right here with this outstanding talent. So amazing to have you here,” Carrie quipped through the charities Instagram page.

Also in attendance was former I’m a Celeb cast mates/jungle survivors, Joel Creasy and Freddie Flintoff.

It was a fun-filled day with some of the industries biggest names like Kylie Gillies, Sam Armytage and Dave Hughes.

Hughesy not loosing it, rather having a blast with the delightful Sam.
