Melbourne is back in its fourth lockdown since COVID made it to Australian shores.

According to The Guardian, as of Monday, the state had recorded that the “number of active cases in the state climbed above 50,” leaving Melbourner’s unsure how long the strict restrictions will be in place.

It is undoubtedly a tough time for the state that has had to endure the hardest lockdown measures in the country – and the most often.

The beloved presenter posted a selfie onto her Instagram story on Tuesday to reveal how she is handling life in lockdown.

Carrie is donning huge 70s classes, a sleek black watch and her grey face mask is wrapped around her hand; also, one must note how well-groomed her short blonde bob is after exercising.

“Felt flat… went for a run (didn’t feel like it)… now feel like I can get on with the day…do what works for you #lockdown,” she wrote.

At the time of writing, the restrictions in Melbourne are contained to five approved reasons to leave the house, which includes exercise, caregiving, education, authorised work, compassionate reasons, medical reasons, and getting vaccinated.

For those seeking exercise like Carrie to get through the lockdown, there is a two-hour time limit, and one must be within five kilometres of their home and with only one other person.

Of course, it’s also compulsory to wear a mask outside of the home at all times.

Exercise isn’t the only activity Carrie has been enjoying to get through the lockdown.

On the weekend, she posted a picture of a backyard bonfire that looked very cosy.

“Lockdown nights. Thanks to firestarter @chriswalkertv #smores,” write Carrie.

After three lockdowns, the presenter knows all the tricks that work for her to get through this fourth round.
