Candice is still glowing welcoming her precious bundle of joy last year on September 11th.

“Ivy brings nothing but joy and pleasure to David and me, and the affect that she has had on not just us, but also our family and friends, has been incredible. She brings out the best in both of us.” The Iron Woman championed gushed to Mother And Baby magazine.

In a modern day fairy-tale, the pro-athletes experienced a whirlwind romance.

“It’s amazing, my life is a fairytale,” Candice admitted to The Daily Telegraph last year, “I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I have found my true love and someone who I can be myself with. He has filled my heart with love and he has taught me how to love properly.”

Candice and David went public with their relationship in September 2013.

Woman’s Day was lucky enough to witness Candice and David’s breathtaking wedding.

“When we first met he spoke to my heart like no one had before and that is when I knew he was the one.”

David held back tears of joy when he saw his bride, follow their gorgeous daughter Ivy Mae down the aisle.

“How could I not have a tear in my eye when I saw Candice walk around the corner looking like the most beautiful bride in the world?” he says. “I was struck again by just how lucky I was to find The One – the woman I will spend the rest of my life with.”

Candice, 30, stunned everyone in her French tulle and lace wedding gown, with its floor-length veil sparkling in the sprinkling rain, and a fortune of borrowed diamonds.

“I felt like a princess,” smiled Candice, who was transformed from an Ironwoman and mum into a bride of such beauty it brought her groom to tears.

Adding, “There was so much love in the room!”
