Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard are reportedly fleeing Australia after their beloved dogs were threatened to be put down by our Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce, who added: “It’s time that Pistol and Boo buggered off back to the United States.”
Sydney Morning Herald is also reporting the Hollywood A-listers have charted another private jet back to the US, a move which will affect the filming of the latest instalment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
Talking to the ABC, Agriculture Minister and now official foe of the power couple, Barnaby Joyce said the dogs could still face death if the United States refuse them entry on the grounds of them being a bio security risk.
“My worry is, will the US let them back in? If not … will they have anywhere to go?” he said, before adding: “We can’t make an exception for Johnny Depp, we have strict laws for a good reason.”
The newlyweds arrived in Australia on April 20 by private jet with their pups in tow so Johnny could recommence Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales filming, however they failed to declare the Yorkshire Terriers.

The dogs were taken to a Gold Coast groomer and she uploaded a photo of them, unwittingly setting off authorities who were quick to raise questions about the canine’s unlawful presence in the country.
Meanwhile Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose has kept quiet about the incident as it was announced she’s received her first starring role in a major film.
The 15 year-old will be sharing the screen with non-other than Oscar winner, Natalie Portman – not bad for a first timer!
The pair have been cast as sisters, and we can’t think of a better match, the resemblance is uncanny.
