It’s been two weeks since the news of the Brangelina divorce hit the headlines and Brad Pitt is said to be not coping.
The 52-year old star is reportedly struggling to recover from the dramatic split which has allegedly involved everyone from the FBI to child services.
According to Us Weekly, Brad is “totally crushed” from the events of the past few weeks since Ange ended their two-year marriage and 12-year union.
Angelina reportedly filed for divorce following a fight aboard a private jet between Brad and their eldest child, Maddox.
See Brad Pitt's statement on his family situation in the video below. Post continues.
A temporary custody agreement sees Brad only allowed supervised visits with his kids.
"He can’t believe this is what his life has become, and he’s in bad shape, but the kids are the only thing he’s hanging onto,” a source revealed to the publication.
“He’s been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly. His mum has been talking to him constantly.”
Brad is still reeling from the split.
Shortly after Angie filed for the divorce, less than five days after they separated, a source also revealed the actor had been “beside himself and had been crying”."
Meanwhile Angelina has added more firepower to her legal team as she gears up to take on her estranged husband in divorce court.
Ange is preparing for a big court battle.
She already has a “who’s who” of Hollywood legal eagles on her team and has reportedly added two lawyers who help negotiate the sale of the LA Clippers NBA team.
According to TMZ, Angelina has hired Pierce O’Donnell and Bert Fields to her already stellar team led by Laura Wasser.
The two men are apparently extremely accomplished trial lawyers who will be able to fight in court if the divorce from Brad gets ugly… well, uglier.
