The British Academy of Film and Television held its annual awards ceremony in London on Sunday night, with all sorts of glittering types in attendance. Eddie Redmayne scooped the gong for best actor for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in the film The Theory of Everything (Hawking also attended the event).
Julianne Moore won best actress for her role as a woman suffering from early onset Alzheimers disease in Still Alice. The Outstanding British Fim award went to The Theory of Everything.
And of course there was plenty of action in the frock watching stakes – from Rosamund Pike’s slinky black number to Keira Knightley’s cascading floral and of course, Eddie Redmane in blue velvet.
