Today's dose of feel-good news comes from showbiz royalty Bert and Patti Newton.
The Aussie golden couple prove true love really does exist as they ring in an incredible 43 years of marriage.
Yep, on this exact day over four decades ago Patti McGrath wed her radio colleague Bert Newton at St Dominic's Parish Church in Camberwell, Victoria.
To mark the milestone anniversary, Patti uploaded a happy snap from their wedding anniversary.
"1974 Bert and I were married today, we've had a wonderful life together. The love of my life xx," the 72-year-old penned alongside a picture which shows Bert's best man and legendary entertainer Graham Kennedy pouring the elated newlyweds a glass of champagne.
According to reports at the time, there were over ten thousand well-wishers at the church camped out to catch a glimpse of the new husband and wife.
43 years later and the golden couple are just as adored by the country!
Since trying the knot, the duo have been by each other's side through the good times and bad.
They are also the proud parents to Matthew and Lauren, and grandparents to their daughter's four kids Lola, Eva, Sam and Monty.
Patti has previously revealed the secret to her marriage is time apart.
“I think we have a great relationship because we’re not always in each other’s pocket,” she told Woman's Day in 2015.

The beloved grandma also admitted that her hubby, now 79, is happiest when he is working and she enjoys being at home with her kids and grandchildren.
“He can go off and do a little bit of work here and there, and when he comes back there are three grandchildren at home,” she said.
2017 has been a particularly tough year for the Newtons after Bert suffered several bouts of ill health.
