She enjoyed her 15 minutes of fame after making it to the top 11 on Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor last year, but Georgia Tripos has now made headlines for all the wrong reasons – namely being charged with trafficking drugs, including ice and cocaine.

According to 9 News, Georgia, 25, and her friend Kristiana Karakostas were arrested on Thursday, March 16, at the Mount Waverley real estate agency in Melbourne where the pair both work together.

Reports suggest they had been running a drug syndicate together.

Police claim the pair were selling the drugs online on the website Craigslist.

Georgia’s lawyer says that this is the former reality star’s first run in with the law, and after being granted bail is due to appear in court on July 7.

Meanwhile, since being booted from the Bachie Mansion last year, as well as being busy, er, with her drug dealing business, Georgia has been trying to establish herself as a model and artist (she regularly promotes her artwork on Insty).

She also told Now To Love that she’s trying to get her foot in the door of the acting world.

“I have always loved acting so I would like to explore that further,” she said following her exit from the reality show. “I did acting for 10 years so I would love to look into that again.”

And while she certainly made an impact on the show thanks to her unfiltered ways, Georgia says she found it difficult being there once she realised early on that she and Richie, 31, had zero chemistry.

“In hindsight, we made good mates and had a good laugh,” she tells us. “I don’t think the feelings were any deeper than that.”
