Aussie legends do Halloween

Far from a trick, these adorable snaps make for the sweetest Halloween treat.

Forget scary, spooky, supernatural and spine-chilling – these celebrity Halloween happy snaps are too cute to be creepy.

Patti Newton, 71, got into the spirit of the October 31 fright fest by donning a sparkly cape alongside her grandchildren, Sam, Lola and Eva.

She captioned the fun-filled Instagram picture: “Happy Halloween, lots of fun with [the] kids”.

Then there was her daughter Lauren Newton, who uploaded a few more family photos to Instagram, but this time, costume-less Bert, 78, took centrestage (one user even pointed it out to Lauren, asking: “Where’s Bert’s costume?”)

Ready for their close-ups, Lauren, her husband Matt and their kids (including their latest addition, Monty) wore smiles so big, we forgot it was Halloween!

Even Kerri-Anne and John Kennerley enjoyed the trick-or-treat festivities, with two young girls stopping by John’s bedside at Prince of Wales Private Hospital last night.

“Thank you to these two beautiful girls who came around to deliver Halloween sweets, smiles and kindness,” the ever-kind Kerri-Anne, 63, wrote.

We really didn’t think Halloween was an overly heart-warming holiday until we double-tapped these touching pictures…
