Angie Kent is no stranger to the small screen after stints on Gogglebox, The Bachelorette AND Dancing With The Stars.

Now, the reality star is taking her resume to the next level and upgrading to the silver screen with a role in Aussie horror film, The Possessed, alongside Home And Away’s Lincoln Lewis and horror icon John Jarratt.

The 30-year-old first announced her exciting new gig in October last year, and now fans have the first terrifying look at what’s to come.

Angie took to Instagram to share the first official photographs from the film, and we shouldn’t have to warn you, they’re horrifying.

“It was such a full on, out of this world experience working on a horror film that is based on actual events!” Angie captioned her post.

“To be a part of an Australian film is truly a dream come true. Little Angie back in her film/ tv study days, workin behind the scenes, would absolutely be jumpin for joy! @thepossessed_movie is set to be released in July! Watch this space!”

The film follows Jacob Chandler, played by Wolf Creek‘s John Jarratt, who is an ordinary man with an “extraordinary gift”.

Jacob, along with his nephew Liam, played by Lincoln, has forged a career exorcising demons from innocent people.

Meanwhile, Angie plays a budding young videographer.

Lincoln’s shared a series of snaps from set, too.

Angie explained on Studio 10 last year that she had to audition via video call for the film, which was filmed in Queensland.

“I thought ‘You know what I’m going to give it a red hot go, I probably won’t get it,” she told hosts Sarah Harris and Tristan MacManus.

“I sat in the back of my car looking like I was in a dark, dingy set-up. I had my laptop and I made myself all scruffy, like old school Angie.”

Angie didn’t think she’d land the role.

Angie added that she had to act really frightened and that it was something she’d never done before.

“You know what, why not? Life’s for living, I love a good adventure,” she said.

When asked what she channelled to bring out the emotion in her audition, though, Angie joked: “Every dude I dated on Bachelorette. Too soon?”
