It’s been two weeks since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt but it seems the children are just not coping.

A source has alleged to People magazine that Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox have entered into therapy with their mother to try to get them through this difficult time.

“It’s been a traumatic situation,” the insider revealed, saying Ange is “staying strong for her kids”.

But the children are said to be growing more frustrated that they are confined to their new rental house, a home they are not familiar with.

The kids are getting cabin fever being all cooped up.

An insider says they’re used to a lot more entertainment and stimulation, and on top of that, they miss their dad.

“They didn’t leave the rental house for days,” the source said.

“It was hard for all of them. The younger kids don’t really understand what’s going on.”

The younger kids are said to be confused as to why Mummy and Daddy don’t live together.

Brad is still said to be grieving the events of the past week, which included the temporary loss of custody of his kids.

An insider confirmed he “has been absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the events of the past several weeks, both in terms of how those events have been wrongfully portrayed and how they have threatened to jeopardise his family’s ability to heal and move forward.”

Brad only agreed to the temporary custody arrangement for one reason.

Brad is not at all happy with the current custody arrangement that allows him supervised visitation rights as long as he submits to drug and alcohol tests.

But he agreed to the strict conditions for one important reason: it would allow him to see his kids, in whatever way possible.

“He will co-operate in any way possible to see the kids,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly.

“By agreeing to this he can see them, which is what he wanted.”

The father of six has also reportedly emphasised that the custody arrangement is temporary, and in the best interests of the children to keep their lives as stable as possible right now.
