After filing for divorce on Monday Amber Heard has been granted a restraining order against husband Johnny Deep alleging the actor abused her.

Depp, 52 has been told to stay 100 yards away from 30-year-old Heard after the Magic Mike XXL star produced pictures and a statement to an LA court where she claims Depp physically and verbally assaulted her during a fit of drunken jealousy on May 21.

In pictures submitted Heard’s right eye appears red and marked from an incident where she told police The Pirates of the Caribbean star had “wound up (his) arm like a baseball pitcher” and threw her iPhone at her, reports Page Six.

The bombshell accusations of violence are not an isolated incident, Heard claims in her filings – which have now become part of the divorce proceedings she lodged on Monday after just 15 months of marriage.

Heard stated that there “have been several prior incidents of domestic violence with Johnny. In particular there was one severe incident in December 2015 where I truly feared that my life was in danger.”

She also added: “Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse.”

“He has a short fuse … He is often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life threatening to me.”

The two actors met while filming The Rum Diary in 2009, but didn’t go public with their relationship till 2011, after the Depp split from French actress and musician, Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children.

Page Six reports that the alleged iPhone incident occurred one day after the death of Depp’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer.

In the wake of speculation Depp’s reps addressed the split in a statement to PEOPLE on Thursday: “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

The actor has yet to address the latest allegations of abuse made against him.
