There’s been a new, devastating development in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s divorce case.

The 30-year-old star submitted an image to the court of bruises and cuts to her face, with a statement that her husband of 15 months physically assaulted her on Saturday evening.

According to reports from TMZ, during an altercation Johnny slammed his iPhone into his wife’s face before shattering various objects in their apartment.

Amber said to the judge that she had called a friend during their fight, and when Johnny grabbed her phone from her she screamed, “Call the cops!”

The actor had reportedly fled the residence when police arrived, but a report was taken.

TMZ also reveal that Johnny had offered money to Amber in an attempt to keep the encounter quiet, but she’d made up her mind to file for divorce instead.

The same injury could be seen on the Danish Girl actress’ face as she left the court yesterday.

Us Weekly can confirm that a restraining order was requested and granted by the judge, and as a result Johnny is required to stay 100 yards from Amber.

The new reports emerge after a rep for Johnny spoke out yesterday, addressing the demise of their marriage for the first time.

“Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life,” the statement read.

“Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”
