There is no shortage of beauty inspiration when it comes to the Duchess-in-waiting, Meghan Markle!

From perfectly sleek locks to purple eyeshadow, her chic hair and makeup trends have kept us glued to her much longer than her relationship with Prince Harry.

And when it comes to her Royal Wedding makeup and hair, we know Meghan will rep a beauty look fit for a Royal – BUT we still believe she will draw inspiration from her most stylish looks before meeting Harry…

Peachy queen

An uncomplicated contour, peach cheeks, nude lip and sooty eye has fast become one of Meghan’s signature styles.

A big fan of embracing her freckles, the princess-to-be accentuates them by applying a lightweight foundation and highlighting concealer to minimal areas on the face.

This less-is-more look is topped off with Meghan’s favourite blush, a matching lip gloss and a slick of liquid liner.

Swept off her feet

A soft bun is both elegant and super easy to recreate. Follow these three steps – and grab these products – to ace this look yourself.

STEP 1 Curl hair in sections with your Remington Pro Curls. $19.95. Pin it in place and allow to cool, so the volume in the hair lasts longer.

STEP 2 Next, secure hair in a low ponytail that hugs the nape of the neck. Lady Jayne Super Hold Elastics, $7.59, are great for this.

STEP 3 Twist hair into a loose bun and pin to secure. Leave the front of your hair looser and twist your fringe back to soften around the face. Spritz liberally with VO5 Ultimate Hold Hairspray, $3.99.

Meghan sure knows how to take things up a notch with a smudged, smoky eye and plum lip.

“Creating this kind of eye look is easier than you think,” says Sydney-based makeup artist Jasmin Lo.

STEP 1 With Clarins Pretty Crayon Khol Eyeliner, $46, trace along the upper and lower lash lines and the waterline. To create the blurred finish, gently blend across your eyelid with a brush or your finger.

STEP 2 With a light champagne-coloured eyeshadow, like Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow in Poser 006, $10.95, apply to the lid and inner corners of the eyes to highlight.

STEP 3 Make your lips pop with Napoleon Perdis DeVine Goddess Lipstick in Venus, $38.

STEP 4 Finish the look with freshly curled lashes

and lots of mascara.
