Cate Blanchett debuts hot pink hair

Hollywood actress, Cate Blanchett forgoes her usual blonde locks and debuts a hot pink bob in London.

It seems that pink is the new blonde for the 46-year-old actress, who stepped out in London overnight rocking a hot pink hair do.

The change comes as quite a shock for the mother-of-four, who – up until now – has never really strayed away from her classic, clean blonde colour.

Cate’s silky blonde locks have become her signature look over the years.

The Carol actress looked positively radiant as she strolled the London streets, smiling from ear to ear as she showed off her new statement look to passers-by.

She fit right in with the trendy London crowd wearing a woollen charcoal overcoat on top of a black and white patterned set. She topped the look off with a pair of platform shoes and some pink-rimmed shades.

The two-time Academy Award winner was last spotted at the 88th Annual Academy Awards on February 28, were she rocked perhaps her chicest look yet; an icy-blue, floral embellished Armani Prive dress.

Although she lost out on nabbing her third Oscar at the star-studded event – with first time winner Brie Larson taking home the accolade for her incredibly moving portrayal of Joy in the Lenny Abrahamson film, Room – she was undoubtedly the winner in our eyes for best dressed.
