Kate Middleton's hair is a celebrity in its own right.
With her bouncy ponytails, her iconic blowouts and those dripping-in-glamour up-dos, you'll be hard pressed to ever find a person who wouldn't give up a lot to have hair like Kate's.
And that's why when she recently stepped out after a summer spent away from the limelight with her young family, we couldn't wait to clap our eyes on her latest 'do.
And boy did she give us a treat and a half.
As she held tight to the hand of Princess Charlotte, who was celebrating the not-so-little milestone of her first day at school, we couldn't help but ogle at Kate's flawless look.
Wearing a beautiful floral dress by Michael Kors, accessorised with a belt and navy pumps, we weren't surprised to see the Duchess knock yet another stylish look completely out of the park.
But what did surprise us was that coveted hair of hers - because it appeared to have changed colour.
Indeed it appears Kate, who we last properly got a glimpse of at the beginning of August at the Kings Cup Regatta, has had a bit of a hair transformation of sorts.
Instead of rocking a darker brunette style, the royal's hair looked lighter, with honey tones added throughout.
Suffice to say we're obsessed!

It's not clear as to whether Kate's new colour is down to dying it, or whether it's just picked up some extra sunshine over the warmer months in the UK, but all things aside, we reckon this is our favourite tone on the royal yet.
This also isn't the first time we've seen the Duchess change up her hair.
Attending the BAFTA's in February 2018 whilst she was pregnant with Prince Louis, the Duchess' locks were noticeably darker than it has been of late.
And because we're all wondering, we thought we'd share a gentle reminder that Kate's hair stylist has actually revealed some of the products and tools she uses to perfect those picturesque locks.
While packing for the royal tour of Sweden and Norway in 2018, Amanda Cook Tucker, who is Kate's hairstylist, shared a snapshot to Instagram of the miracle-working tools at hand.
Included in the snapshot were none other than 13 brushes, six combs, three hair tongs, two hairdryers and seven hair products.
Yep, our jaws dropped too.
The products in question included L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Supreme Hold Volume Hairspray, Charles Worthington's Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse and Kiel's Silk Groom Serum.
We must say, it's great to see some affordable products in the mix.
We'll just be heading to our nearest chemist to stock up... and blocking out our diaries for a few hours as we try to recreate Kate's heavenly look.
