The Logie awards might be TV’s night of nights, but we can’t blame you if your eyes were glued on the fabulous make-up looks and dresses walking down the red carpet – including the head-turning style of one of The Weekly‘s former coverstars, Lisa Wilkinson

The TODAY show host is no stranger to the Logies, with 2017’s ceremony marking her 10th appearance. But this year, she took her look to a glamorous new level, with a dark smoky eye that perfectly complemented her sparkling Cappellazzo Couture gown.

Make-up artist Joanne Bentley took to Instagram to reveal all the products she used to glam Lisa up, and even shared a touching message to remind all of us to always love the skin we’re in.

(Don’t mind us while we prepare to commit every product to memory…)

Lisa Wilkinson’s Logies make-up secrets

Joanne used the following products on Lisa for the 2017 Logies:

1. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, $68, mecca.com.au mixed with:

2. CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops in Candlelight, $56, sephora.com.au

3. Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Strobe Lighting Powder, $55, mecca.com.au

4. Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light, $72, mecca.com.au

5. Blush from Make Up For Ever (Joanne detailed that “it’s a Make Up For Ever individual eye shadow that I use as a blush. It doesn’t have any numbering on it.”)

6. Eye shadows from MAC and Nars (Joanne did not list the specific products she used)

1. Model Rock Lashes in 204, $6.95, modelrocklashes.com

2. MAC Lipstick in Ravishing, $36, maccosmetics.com.au

3. Melli Cosmetics ICON The Gloss, $25, mellicosmetics.com

Joanne also said that she took this before-and-after photo of Lisa with her permission, and although “I’m too scared to ask clients if I can take a make-up-free shot of them” Lisa had “no hang-ups” about getting the snap for her Instagram.

Joanne went on to say that Lisa “mentioned people said she is brave to take a ‘no make-up’ shot of herself,” but actually Joanne and Lisa both think “it’s not brave… IT’S NORMAL”.

“Embrace and love your normal, and your glowing-glitter-glam, too, ladies!” Joanne says.

And we couldn’t agree more.

Lisa and Joanne don’t believe shooting a no-make-up selfie is brave. No, “it’s NORMAL”.
