To mark the occasion, the Royal Court has released three photographs of the princess at Haga Palace. They show the princess blowing out candles on a cake, painting and sitting for a portrait.

Estelle is the only child of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, who were married in 2010. Being the granddaughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf, the two-year-old is second in line of succession to the Swedish throne.

The Royal House website recently featured an official congratulation from the Duke of Västergötland’s family for the arrival of Princess Madeleine’s first-born child.

“We are looking forward to meet the new little family, and last but not least Estelle is very curious about her new cousin.”
