You can now own a piece of royal history, but it will cost you!

The gown to be auctioned is the late Princess’ blue sequined Catherine Walker number which boasts long sleeves, a slight V-neckline, a fitted waistline and a slit up the front.

It’s expected to go for a whopping £100,000, around $AUD198,958.

Diana, pictured in the dress which is up for acution, wore the stunning dress in Austria in 1986.

And again to the Diamond Ball in 1990.

The frock was a favourite of Diana’s, who wore the dress on multiple occasions, including during a 1986 state visit to Austria, to the Diamond Ball in 1990 and to the film premiere of Biggles back in 1993.

Diana herself first auctioned the glittering piece at Christie’s in NYC in June 1997, just three months before her untimely death at the age of 36 in a car accident in Paris.

In 2013, it was sold with Kerry Taylor Auctions for $USD131,000.

This time, the dress will be sold on June 14 through the-saleroom.com, an online antiques dealer.

Looking for something a little more demure? You can also buy this tartan number!

The Princess donned this coat during her 1985 Italy trip.

If green is your flavour but you want something with less glitter, the website has also listed another Diana classic.

Her teal tartan Emanuel B. Couture coat dress, worn when she visited Italy with Princes Charles in 1985, is also up for grabs…

Plus it is a bargain with the price starting at £10,000 (or approx. $AUD19,850).
