Pippa Middleton’s wedding guests received some pretty out of the ordinary favours

And we’re kind of obsessed!

Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, threw the fairytale wedding to end all fairytale weddings over the weekend.

And it was the little things that set her big day apart from the pack: a pearl-studded veil, an order of service featuring a sketch by the bride’s elder sister, a royal-worthy flypast from a World War II Spitfire plane and whimsical wedding favours.

According to Hello! magazine, the 33-year-old made sure guests went home with Instagram-worthy wedding favours — personalised marshmallows.

The marshmallows were gifted to the 350 guests that attended the wedding breakfast and featured the bride and groom’s initials on them.

The idea was supposedly sprouted by younger brother James Middleton who’s made a business out of selling personalised marshmallows with photos printed on top. Interestingly, he also supplied personalised cupcakes for the royal wedding in 2011.

James previously opened up about his company ‘Boomf’ and his sisters’ influence in an interview with Brides.

“They are incredibly supportive and are always intrigued by what I come up with,” he said. My family is usually the first guinea pigs to try out my new recipes. The marshmallows got the thumbs up from the first batch so I was pretty happy with that.”

As the world continues to pore over details from the ‘wedding of the year,’ the newlyweds are reportedly enjoying two honeymoon destinations, starting with a luxurious escape to Tetiaroa in French Polynesia.

“The Polynesian villa is everything people would expect – miles of white sand, beautiful scenery and 24-hour-a-day service from staff – and they’re staying there for a week,” a source revealed to The Sun of their VIP escape.

The 33-year-old chose to wear a stunning lace creation by Giles Deacon for her big day.

What a wedding!

The Mail On Sunday reveal they’ll be shacking up at an eco-friendly villa at The Brando (which is owned by Marlon Brando, obviously) for a cool $AUD5235 a night.

Following a week of relaxing island life, they’ll jet to one of James’ family properties in the Scottish Highlands near Loch Ness.

“After that they’ll head to Scotland for the second part of their break — and they hope to end it by catching the final of the French Open tennis tournament in two weeks’ time,” a pal explained.

Married life is looking pretty good for this almost-royal couple!
