Olympic swimming hero Michael Phelps has revealed he and his beauty queen wife Nicole Phelps, both 32, are expecting their second child together!

The couple, who tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Cabo last year, announced their lovely news via their social media channels.

In the shot, a beaming Nicole holds her 15-month-old son Boomer, who is proudly showing off his mummy’s pregnancy test.

Michael’s caption read: “Number 2 on the way!!!! So excited!! Wonder if it’s a boy or a girl??”

While Nicole posted the same pic and mused: “Lil mans going to be a Big Brother!!!”

Not to be left out of the fun Boomer’s Instagram page, which is run by his parents, uploaded a photo of the adorable bub clapping his hands with joy in front of the pregnancy test, and exclaimed: “So excited to see what mama is having!! Do I get to have a brother or a sister?!?”

The couple celebrated Boomer’s first birthday in May.

And while Michael is the most decorated Olympian of all time, for the retired swimming champ he says it’s being a dad that’s his biggest achievement.

“For me it’s the best thing that ever happen to me,” the American sports star has said.

The Rio Games marked Phelp’s fifth Olympics and brought his medal count up to 28.

But as he told People, he is ready to grow his family and spend time with his gorgeous son.

“He’s locking onto things and staring at things now, so you really do see him growing — not just physically growing, but you can tell he’s getting older. And it’s just a cool feeling watching him grow up,” he said.

“So we started off on a perfect note: We got a boy. We got a beautiful, healthy baby boy, and we’re looking to continue to grow our family.”

He’s certainly stuck to his word! Congrats to the soon-to-be family-of-four.

A huge congratulations to swimming’s first family!
