The president’s son Eric Trump and his wife Lara Trump are expecting their first child in September – a boy!

“We found out on my birthday, which was pretty cool,” Eric, 33, confirmed to People magazine on Monday.

Lara – a former Inside Edition producer who is now involved with various animal charities – is in her second trimester, and says that she’s just starting to come into her own.

“I was exhausted in the beginning,” she told People.

“It surprised me, because I’m a very active person, and until the fatigue hit, I didn’t believe it would actually happen to me. It really affected me. But I’m feeling really good now.”

Despite being a first-time mum, Lara says she’s not at all nervous about becoming a parent. “I knew I always wanted kids someday,” she said.

Lara, who dated the president’s third-born child for six years before tying the knot in a lavish wedding at Mar-A-Lago in 2014, added that she thinks he’ll be an “amazing dad.”

“The nieces and nephews love hanging with him. He’s the cool uncle. He’s watched Frozen many times.”

As for names? The couple admit they haven’t yet decided on a moniker for their baby boy.

“We really loved the name Charlie, but we’d already named our dog that, so it’s out,” Eric said.

And if you were wondering how President Trump reacted to the news… Lara explained that he was “excited” to learn that the couple were expecting.

“Eric’s dad was so excited that we were worried he’d blurt it out at a press conference,” Lara said.

This will be the 70-year-old president’s ninth grandchild – Eric’s brother Don Jr. already has five children with his wife Vanessa, while sister Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, share three.

Congratulations! We wish the parents-to-be all the very best.
