Clearly there’s something in the tennis waters…
First Andy Murray and Serena Williams, and now sporting great Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker have confirmed they’re going to be parents for the second time!
Andy confirmed his wife was pregnant while giving an acceptance speech at the International Tennis Hall of Fame Class of 2017 ceremony in Newport, on Saturday.
And she’s having a girl!
Brooklyn debuted her bump over the weekend.
Andy couldn’t be more excited about the news.
“My wife Brooklyn, most people don’t know you’re kind of nuts,” the 34-year-old said to the audience.
“You’re my partner in crime. In a life full of good fortune, being around you has been by far the luckiest part. I’m a better human for us having met 10 years ago.”
Continuing his poignant tribute, he said, “Brook, I don’t know how you juggle it all.”
“I see it every day and it still doesn’t make any sense to me. You’re an unreal artist, businesswoman, mother, wife, sister and friend. You hear a lot of guys who find it very tough to walk away from professional sports.”
“You’re the reason why my personal transition into a quasi-normal, everyday life has been gratifying and full. Hank will someday realize how lucky he is.”
Before sharing the incredible baby news, the proud hubby gushed, “Our daughter that’s coming will also realize she has the best mother on earth. Simply, thank you for being you.”
The couple are already the proud parents to their son, Hank.
The model’s company, Finery, were quick to share a darling snap of their boss, who showed off her growing belly.
“From @brooklyndecker to our team here this morn: “HEY GUYS….OUR FINERY TEAM JUST GOT A NEW USER!” We ❤️ u B & Andy!!”
Andy and Brooklyn are already the proud parents to their little boy, Hank, who will be two-years-old in September.
The pair first started dating in 2007, before tying the knot two years later in 2009.
