URGENT RECALL: Popular baby food sold in Oz may contain GLASS

Pass this on to ANYONE you know who has a baby.
Rafferty’s Garden Happy Tummies Vegetable Risotto

When it comes to feeding our young healthy, delicious foods, the last thing we’d expect to find is that their baby food contains anything other than what is listed on the packet.

So, you can imagine our jaw-dropping shock upon discovering that a popular baby food sold in Australia is being recalled because it may contain GLASS…

Well, such is the case for Australia-made Rafferty’s Garden Happy Tummies Vegetable Risotto, which, as of this morning, is being recalled because there is a possibility it could hold glass.

Do you have this in your pantry right now, or know someone who might? Check the expiration date (listed below), ASAP.

According to a Food Standards Australia New Zealand product recall, “Rafferty’s Garden has been advised that the Arborio rice used in two batches of our Happy Tummies Vegetable Risotto may contain glass.”

Of the urgency in recalling this baby food product, Rafferty’s Garden have stated:

“At Rafferty’s Garden, we take food safety and the safety of our little consumers very seriously. We have been advised that there was an issue at the Arborio rice manufacturers where glass has entered the production process and was not detected.”

“Although we are confident of our rigorous quality screening mechanisms in place, we have initiated a recall of the affected batches as a precautionary measure.”

If you, or someone you know, have bought this product and the best before dates are August 10, 2018 and August 12, 2018, Rafferty’s Garden are urging consumers not to eat this food, and they should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
