Wait… Did Cristiano Ronaldo just welcome surrogate twins?

It’s being alleged the soccer star has become a father to a boy and a girl.

It would seem that the Beyoncé effect is real, if this new report is anything to go by.

First, the pop icon falls pregnant with twins. Next, George Clooney announces he and wife Amal were also expecting double, and now, reports are claiming the Real Madrid forward has just grown his own family by two.

That’s right, the Portuguese media are alleging the Cristiano Ronaldo, 32, welcomed surrogate twins, a boy and a girl named Eva and Mateo on Thursday.

“The boy and girl were born to a surrogate mum,” SIC claims.

“It’s a secret that Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t yet revealed to the rest of the world.”

Back in March, a UK paper claimed that Ronaldo was expecting twin boys “very soon” to a surrogate mother on the west coast of the United States.

It’s also been recently speculated that the icon’s model girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, was pregnant herself, thanks to a photo the doting dad posted on Instagram where he can be seen with his hand on the beauty’s belly.

While there’s been no official confirmation from the Ronaldo camp, if the rumours are indeed true, little Eva and Mateo will join the sportsman’s first son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, who is now six.

Although he’s never officially confirmed it, it’s widely reported that Ronaldo used a gestational carrier to welcome his mini-me son.

“It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship,” he explained in a shock statement back in 2010.
