It's recovery central in the Denyer household with Sailor and Scout stepping up as the resident nurses.

Grant Denyer shared with fans that he is well and truly on the mend, following his death-defying race car accident earlier in the month.

Posting an adorable snap on Instagram, the proud dad penned, “The best recovery TLC. Nurse Scout & nurse Sailor treat me with dance shows, karaoke, & lots & lots of laughs between back & finger Physio appointment.”

“I could not imagine better care than this. These two are a gift straight from heaven and a bedside manner way better than the bes private hospital. My angels of healing.”

Wife Cheryl also uploaded the same photo, telling her friends, “A little behind the scenes shot from Recovery Central!! The injured @grantdenyer being doted on by Nurse Sailor & Nurse Scout!”

The wife of the Family Feud host went on to share her gratitude from all the well-wishes her hubby and family have received.

“A very LARGE thank you to everyone for all your well wishes, it’s been a long couple of weeks but Grant is coming along really well and we appreciate all the love! While he finds it difficult to sit for too long, he is really quite mobile and no longer needing crutches!”

She continued, “He’s doing a lot of resting in between good hard sessions of physio on both his hand and back. The girls have been looking after him and have enjoyed having him home!”

“Grant has watched numerous karaoke shows, changed plenty of doll diapers and has been enjoying lots of bedside barbie doll playing! I’ll give you another update in a few days and just want to say thank you for all the love! ❤❤❤”

Writing from his hospital bed, the TV host Grant thanked everyone for their support following his horror rally car crash.

Last week Grant got the all clear and was sent home with the strict orders to rest up.

“I’m very happy to say, I’m out of hospital and on my way home today,” he told his Facebook fans.

“Things are on the improve. My broken Sacrum is painful but manageable with bed rest and medication. I’m able to walk on crutches now which is great progress, so it should be a straight forward healing process over the next 6 weeks.”

The beloved TV star continued, “It was great to have family by my side over the last few days. Nothing like having the one’s you love near when you’re a bit busted and broken. Scout keeps giving Daddy lots & lots of kisses and Sailor has been reading me her books and drawing me pictures. It’s a blessing to all go home together today with my spectacular wife Chezzi who has been extraordinary. Couldn’t do it without her.”

On Sunday, March 26 the father-of-two and his co-driver Dale Moscatt were involved in a collision with a tree during the Lake Mountain Sprint for the Australian Rally Championships in Marysville, Victoria.

Grant told fans that he is constant contact with racing buddy, remarking, “We’re both finding plenty of things to laugh about and be thankful for. I wish him the best as he continues to get well.”

Following the TV WEEK Gold Logie nominee’s accident, Cheryl admitted she still supports her husband’s love for the dangerous sport.

“Strangely enough, I sat down last Thursday to start writing an article for my blog about what it’s like to be married to a daredevil, but I couldn’t find the right words. It just wasn’t working… so I stopped writing it,” she revealed to The Herald Sun.

“It’s been a hard day, but I have never tried to talk him out of it and I wouldn’t because I know how much he just loves it.”

“He doesn’t really have accidents and I don’t really worry. He’s told he’s fine, it was just a freak accident.”
