Australia’s sweetheart, Delta Goodrem has a lot to celebrate in 2018, not least of all the arrival of the newest member of the Goodrem family, Emmy Parker Goodrem, Delta’s baby niece.
The Voice judge went straight to Instagram to celebrate the arrival of her brother and sister-in-law’s new bub, writing:
“Welcome to the world Emmy Parker Goodrem 💕 my beautiful niece 💕 so proud of my brother and Sister in law! xxx”
“Welcome to the world Emmy. I will always be here for you and love you, love Aunty Delta,” writes the singer.
And things quickly became even MORE adorable in the singer’s Instagram story section, with the 33-year-old sharing candid snaps of her little nephew meeting his new sister for the first time.

“My outrageously adorable nephew with baby Emmy, so proud of my brother and sister in law,” captioned Delta.
When she’s not spending time with her family, Delta has been spotted out partying hard with her Voice co-star Boy George, following news that her former flame Nick Jonas is engaged to stunning actress Priyanka Chopra.
Woman’s Day revealed in June that Delta shared a top-secret hook-up with Nick in Los Angeles earlier this year, sparking hopes they would reunite after their split in 2012.
“Delta was left heartbroken [following news of Nick’s whirlwind romance with Priyanka]. She feels she can’t compete with a hottie from Hollywood, whose best friends are royals,” A Woman’s Day source said.
“She just put on a brave face and continued to hang out with Joe and Nick.”
It was just the latest blow for unlucky-in-love Delta, who’s still recovering from a break-up with Aussie musician Matthew Copley.
“She began to miss Nick soon after she dumped Matthew. Delta realised Matthew wasn’t right for her, which is why being back with Nick felt so right,” our source says.
“Nick was always a gentleman and she trusted him implicitly, even though he’s a global star. But unfortunately it looks like she waited too long to launch her plan to get Nick back.”
We hope the arrival of her new niece will be enough to help Delta move on to bigger and better things.
