It’s been over ten years since the show wrapped but Friends stars Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry are still as thick as thieves.

The co-stars were reunited at the Phoenix House 12th annual Triumph For Teens Awards gala at Montage, in Beverly Hills on Monday night.

In a touching tribute Lisa, 51, presented Matthew, 45, with an award for his contribution to helping teens overcome addiction.

Matthew has made no secret of his past struggled with addiction and since overcoming his drug and alcohol problems, he’s become a tireless campaigner.

In 2013 he turned his former home into a rehab centre which is now called The Perry House.

“It’s very gratifying but I’m not a hero, I’m just a guy who got sober and I’m passing along the message the best I can, and I think that maybe because I was on a TV show more people listen,” he said at the event.

A fighter and a true inspiration – congratulations Matthew on your award.

On Monday evening, Matthew Perry was presented the Phoenix Rising Award by his former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow.

The award, which was given to the star by the prominent rehab organisation Phoenix House, recognises the 45-year-old’s tireless efforts to help others battling with addiction.

Although the incredibly popular show wrapped in 2004 Lisa and Matthew are still good pals.

Back in their heyday, the pair rose to fame playing Phoebe Buffay and Chandler Bing in the ensemble cast of Friends.

After ten successful seasons the show, which first aired in 1994, finally wrapped in May 2004.
