Identical twin sisters give birth to twins – twice!

Life is about to get very crazy for Utah-based identical twin sisters, Kerri Bunker and Kelli Wall, who recently gave birth to their second set of twins, just weeks apart from each other.

Twins Kerri and Kelli are preparing for a sleepless couple of years, as the sisters have both just doubled their young families by giving birth to a set of twins for the second time.

Kelli and Kerri are inseparable. They married best friends, they teach at the same school and they even live on the same street.

Last October, Kerri found out that she was pregnant with twins just weeks after Kerri had also received the exact same news.

Kelli brought her first set of twins into the world in October 2010, and Kerri followed shortly after with twins of her own.

Both siblings were originally told by doctors that they would have trouble conceiving, but with the help of IVF the sisters were both able to fall pregnant 11 months apart from one another.

Kelli’s first daughters, Madison and McKell, are now five years old, while Kerri’s first twins, Kole and Hallie, are 4. Kerri also has another two-year-old daughter, Sadie.

Seeing double! Kyler, Kenadee, Kash and Jace take their first breaths in the big world.

When it came to their second, more recent pregnancies, Kelli conceived again with the help of IVF, while this time around, Kerri fell pregnant naturally. She discovered the good news after purchasing a home pregnancy test on a whim.

“I still can’t even believe it! Obviously these babies need to be here,” Kerri said to CBS News. “We’re chalking it up as a miracle.”

Kelli’s twins Kyler and Kenadee were born at Timpanogos Regional Hospital on February 13th, 2016, and Kerri’s twins Kash and Jace were born about three weeks earlier, also at the same hospital.

“So between the two of us, we now have nine children age five and under,” Kelli told People magazine.

Kelli and Kerri share almost every aspect of their lives. They married best friends Dustin and Robert, making them a “love square, not a love triangle,” as Kerri fondly put it to People.

Both sisters work as school teachers at the Timpanogos Academy in Lindon, where Kerri teaches third grade and Kelli teaches fifth, and soon, the 36-year-old mothers will live in neighbouring houses as they are currently at a stage of building homes next door to one another.

“We drive to work together, we end up wearing the same thing a lot of times, and we still call each other every night to say ‘goodnight,’” said Kerri of their sisterly bond.

“So between the two of us, we now have nine children age 5 and under.”

The new additions to their families may be a handful to say the least, but the sisters couldn’t be happier with their bundles of joy.

“Whatever perspective you look at it, I love it,” Kelli said to KSL. “I mean, I wouldn’t want to change it for the world.”

“I actually hope that my twins have the same special bond my twin sister and I have. Life is about to get very crazy.”

“Wherever they end up, we know they’ll always have a best friend for life,” Kerri mused.
