Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany reveal how they drive

It can be difficult enough for a 16-year-old to learn to drive, but for conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, it’s just another daily task they share.

The pair, who are now 22 and starring in TV reality show Abby & Brittany, recently demonstrated how they share the responsibility of driving.

Each of the girls has her own driver’s licence and each had to take a driving test, but when it comes to operating the car, it all comes down to team work.

“I think we’re good drivers,” the pair say in unison.

“When we drive, Abby is in control of the gas and brakes and we both steer, and I’m in control of the clicker,” Brittany explains.

Their TV show follows the girls in their everyday life, hanging out with friends, planning a trip to Europe and hunting for their first job.

The girls — who share one body but control one side each — continue to stun doctors with their incredible co-ordination and team work, which they use every day for everything from dressing and doing each other’s hair to playing the piano.
