Kia Lettice is the brave girl suffering from ovarian cancer.

The 22-year-old, who is in Sydney’s Prince of Wales Hospital, had a dying wish to meet rugby great, Beau Ryan… and her friend Mahalia Murphy, also a rugby player, was determined to make her dreams come true.

“Any assistance to boost my friend up? She is currently in Prince of Wales hospital and has roughly 4 hours to live as she’s fighting cancer,” Mahalia penned on Facebook.

“She wants Greg Inglis or Beau Ryan to come see her. If everyone can share this or get in contact for me this would be much appreciated.”

It took less than an hour for the former Cronulla Sharks’ star to respond to her plea.

“Leaving Shellharbour now! See you in two hours,” he wrote on Mahalia’s now viral post.

“Tell her to stay strong.”

Within two hours the father-of-one was by Kia’s side, happily chatting to her, posing for snaps and even giving her a hug and a kiss.

Kia was overjoyed by her friend’s efforts in getting Beau to visit her.

Mahalia was so touched by Beau’s actions that she took to Facebook to praise the sporting star.

“Thanks to everyone for making this special moment happen.”
