Clinton cleared: New FBI letter could impact US election

Just two days out from the election FBI Director James Comey has delivered another important message to congress.

Just two days out from the election FBI Director James Comey informed Congress that the bureau had “not changed its conclusions” on Clinton’s email server.

An embattled Comey reportedly handed another letter to Congress on Sunday which re-affirmed that new batch of Hillary Clinton emails that were found on a laptop shared by her top aide, Huma Abedin, and her husband, Anthony Weiner were not evidence enough to bring any charge against Ms Clinton, reports The New York Times.

The removal of the dark cloud of the investigation has delighted those in the Democratic camp with a Clinton campaign spokesperson telling NBC News they’re “glad to see” Comey had stood by his previous July conclusions and that “the matter is resolved.”

The latest poll in the US election shows that Hillary Clinton now holds a five-point lead nationally over Donald Trump, Post-ABC Tracking Poll finds.
