Prepare your pooch, a free Easter egg hunt is on this weekend

But don’t worry; it’s all totally safe for your pup.
Dog Easter egg hunt

In one of the cutest things to ever happen, an Easter egg hunt and fair is coming to Sydney, and it’s full of family (and pooch!) fun.

Best of all? It is completely free.

Mad Paws is hosting a dog-filled, Easter-themed event, which will see your dog compete in a variety of activities, be pampered at a pedicure spa and get their paw-trait photo taken, all with a super-sweet Easter spin.

Test out their speed and agility in a specially designed obstacle course complete with a tunnel, jump and weaving obstacles to really put your pet through their paces. As for the Easter egg hunt, all treats will be completely dog-friendly (i.e. no chocolate) and will give your pets a chance to run around in a safe and secure area, while you enjoy some Easter fun for yourself.

There will be plenty for all pet parents and two-legged friends to do also, like a sausage sizzle and prizes to win. The whole event is being run to support Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, with merchandise available to purchase on the day with all donations providing much-needed funds to the vital centre.

You’ll walk away with a goodie bag filled with treats for your dog provided by Pet Stock and maybe even a prize.
