Delta Goodrem’s making her TV comeback in season five of Channel Nine’s House Husbands.
She’s set to play Izzy Dreyfus, a tomboyish learning support teacher who rattles the Nepean South community.
Delta, 31, who played Nina Tucker on Neighbours, is enjoying her return to TV drama.
“It’s such a fantastic Aussie drama which I love, and my whole family loves,” Delta said, adding that she “couldn’t be happier” to join the hit drama along with Gary Sweet and Julia Morris.
Speaking of her character, she confessed, “I’m causing a bit of havoc! I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t going to stir up something.”
By the looks of things, The Voice coach will be paired up with her longtime friend and former Packed to the Rafters star, Hugh Sheridan.
“Hugh has been such a dream to work with. He’s made me feel totally at home, as have all of the cast,” she gushed.

Packed to the Rafters star Hugh Sheridan is also joining the stellar gang. He and Delta smooched on set in what looked to be a very steamy scene.

Delta Goodrem excited to work with Hugh Sheridan on House Husbands
“It’s such a fantastic Aussie drama which I love, and my whole family loves,” Delta admitted about her new adventure.
Delta, who recently started dating Wallabies player Drew Mitchell, has all her co-stars smitten, include Firass Dirani.
Delta admits her character has shaken things up for the House Husbands gang.
“I’m causing a bit of havoc. I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t going to stir up something.”
Gary Sweet has taken The Voice judge under his wing… That’s certainly earned her a cookie!
“Hugh has been such a dream to work with. He’s made me feel totally at home, as have all of the cast,” the songstress admitted.
The pair, both actors and singers, have been longtime friends.
And it looks like they’re playing on-screen lovers!
Delta, who’s just released a number-one CD Wings of the Wild, has her sights set on resurrecting her acting career.
“I’m getting to do everything I love – dancing, singing and acting!”
Things are getting steamy…
“It has been a big week of filming [House Husbands] so far; it’s good to get back into the swing of things,” Delta mused.
