What a breast cancer survivor wants you to know

Rachel shares her story.

Rachel had only celebrated her 50th birthday six months before her first-ever mammogram showed she had breast cancer.

Despite having to undergo treatment, Rachel considers herself "one of the lucky ones" and says the mammogram "could be the difference between sitting here today, or not sitting here." Her story is a reminder to us all that early detection really is the best protection.
