Our hearts are breaking for the mum-of-two, but we love that she’s still smiling.

After making the irrevocably hard decision to stop her cancer treatment earlier this year, Connie Johnson is now residing in hospice care and has let her fans in on how she is spending her final days.

Taking to the Love Your Sister Instagram page to update her followers on how she is, Connie posted two pictures of her colouring in with a friend.

“Quiet night chatting and colouring with an old friend,” she captioned the picture. “Life can still have great moments and this is one of them.”

Connie, 40, was first diagnosed with cancer when she was 11 and has gone on to fight cancer another two times.

However, this time, Connie’s cancer diagnosis is terminal.

As previously reported by TV Week” last month, her brother, actor Samuel Johnson, took to the Love Your Sister Facebook page to let Connie’s fans know that she had been admitted into hospice care.

The actor posted a picture of a serene looking lake which he said was Connie’s view, writing:

“Con’s needed a lot of quiet time lately to try and comprehend the total headf*ckery that ‘actively dying’ brings.”

“No phones, no social media – all too overwhelming right now. She just rang from the hospice (her view pictured) and admitted that this is the most difficult thing she’s ever had to face, but in true Connie style she’s been colouring in to keep the nasty thoughts at bay! She said to tell you that there’s life in the old dog yet.”

“She’s as comfortable as can be and is being cared for superbly.”

Our thoughts are with Connie, Samuel and their friends and family during this difficult time.
