Will this Bachelor romance last? Matty J’s sister isn’t so sure

Following her day-trip to the mansion, Matty’s sister Kate thought she had the winner all worked out… but they didn’t even make Top 2?!

Matty's Number One surprised everyone... even his sister Kate!

Kate’s visit to the Bachie mansion certainly gave us a healthy dose of reality TV drama. The scandal was just never-ending! And following her visit, we were sure that Kate had her own top picks for baby brother Matty J.

After getting to know the girls with her brother in mind, Kate said she definitely saw Florence and Tara as “marriage material.”

In an OK! exclusive, Kate spilled that she did think some of the girls were marriage material, picking Florence and Tara as her standouts to take the final rose.

“I got along with them really well and I thought they were really nice girls and quite mature as well,” she says candidly. “I left that day thinking that I could see Matty probably ending up with one of them.”

Um, except neither of them made it to Matty’s Top 2! Awkies! And we’re totally with you Kate, we were heartbroken when Flo and “Tarzy” didn’t get a rose.

And Kate isn’t the only sceptic! Former Bachelorette co-star Jake Ellis admits he didn’t “entirely get” the connection between Matty J and his final two girls, Elise Stacy and Laura Byrne.

Worryingly, body language expert Louise Mahler shared exactly the same thoughts about Elise. After reviewing footage of her first meeting, first kiss and home visit with Matty J, she concluded, Matty “calls her ‘genuine, fun and bubbly!’ Words of love? No.”

Some of the girls who’ve left the mansion also have us questioning whether Matty will last with Number One. This year’s villain Jen Hawke suggested some of the girls weren’t even that keen on Matty J.

“It’s not just about Matty picking girls that he likes – it’s about us seeing if we like him too,” she says. “It’s not like he’s right for everyone.”

The suspense is literally killing us, we can’t even deal. The last episode cannot come quick enough!
