Can you believe yet another season of Wentworth is coming to an end?

We’re feeling quite nervous about what to expect from tonight’s episode.

The season four finale ended with the brutal death of Bea Smith.

No doubt we’re in for another shocking end to what’s been a truly gripping season.

Catch up with where the main players are at ahead of tonight’s finale.

Governor Vera (Kate Atkinson):

She’s in danger of losing it all – her job and her lover. Vera has been suspended as governor and is facing the growing realisation her boyfriend Jake (Bernard Curry) may be a drug dealer.

Deputy Governor Jake (Bernard Curry):

He’s in so deep, he’s been treading water all season. Jake’s had an alliance with Joan and the drug dealers, fallen out with Will (Robbie Magasiva) and been dating the boss.

Guard Will (Robbie Magasiva):

His closest ally, Vera, turned against him after he implicated Jake in a drug operation. He wants to stop the import of drugs and has become close friends with inmate Kaz (Tammy McIntosh).

Top Dog Joan (Pamela Rabe):

The queen bully of the yard. Joan’s reign is one of intimidation and violence. But the women baying for her blood are starting to get a bit more vocal.

Inmate Kaz (Tammy MacIntosh):

Disposed Top Dog Kaz nearly died when the prison vehicle she was in skidded into a dam. She’s since worked alongside her saviour, Will,
to fight for inmates’ rights.

Inmate Franky (Nicole da Silva):

Facing two murder charges, Franky is desperate
to clear her name and be freed. She’s tried to keep her head down while plotting her escape.

Inmate Allie (Kate Jenkinson):

Initially fuelled by wanting revenge on Joan, Allie has grown closer to Franky. The two inmates have spent most of the season hatching an escape plan.

Inmate Liz (Celia Ireland):

Liz turned snitch on Sonia (Sigrid Thornton) and testified against her in court. But it all backfired and now she’s convinced
Sonia is going to exact revenge.

Inmate Sonia (Sigrid Thornton):

Sonia showed her
true colours when her murderous past was revealed. She’s formed alliances with several
other prisoners.

Inmate Boomer (Katrina Milosevic):

Boomer was given responsibility and
a purpose by Sonia with the gardening project. She has become Sonia’s right-hand woman.
