We love Sophie Monk and her bubbly personality, which is why it was strange to see her so nervous in the short, but very sweet promo for The Bachelorette Australia.

In the clip, the 37-year-old nervously awaits the arrival of her many suitors.

“I’ve been searching for this my whole life. This guy has to exist,” she says.

We’re sure he’s out there Sophie!

Sophie’s down-to-earth nature has won over the hearts of many Australians.

And we’re looking forward to see her call it like it is on The Bachelorette Australia – she has never been one to suffer fools!

The trailer lands amid reports the star has found love on the show.

“(It’s going) really well. She is in love,” an insider told The Courier Mail this week.

When the news was first announced Sophie took to Instagram to say, “OMG I’m the new Bachelorette Australia. I’m so excited but wetting my pants”.

While at this stage, none of the contestants vying for Sophie’s heart have been confirmed, there are rumours that Sam Frost’s ex Sasha Mielczarek could be entering The Bachelorette this season as an intruder!

Up until this point Sophie has been unlucky in love and has many high-profile romances over the years.

Sophie’s most famous relationship started back in 2006 when the bubbly blonde began dating Benji Madden, twin brother to Joel and member of rock band Good Charlotte.

The couple dated for two years and even became engaged, but split in 2008.

Sophie first burst onto our screens in 1999 in talent show series Popstars which set out to create a successful girl group.

Sophie was selected to be a part of Bardot, alongside bandmates Belinda Chapple, Tiffani Wood and Sally Phlihronas.

The group found fame with their debut song Poison.

It’s not long now until Sophie is back on the small screen. The Bachelorette will return shortly after Matty Johnson’s season of The Bachelor finishes.
