Steve Price slams Keira: “We threw darts at her face”

During his time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, the radio shock-jock made it pretty clear he wasn't Keira Maguire's biggest fan.

And now he’s out, he’s really letting loose on her.

You always know what you’re going to get with Steve Price. The radio legend is never one to hold back his feelings, and his time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was no different.

Especially when it came to his dislike of fellow camp mate, Keira Maguire.

NW caught up with Steve as he left the jungle last night, where he revealed he almost quit the show after she entered.

Luckily, he came up with a way of channeling his rage – by throwing darts at her face!

Steve didn’t hold back on telling us what he thought of Keira…

Was there ever a moment on the show you wanted to call it quits?

Yeah only once. When Keira – the girl from The Bachelor show – was injected into the program as an intruder. I felt from day one that wasn’t going to be a good thing. She’s just not my sort of person. She has this really annoying habit of verbalising everything she was doing.

She would get up and say, “I’m going to clean my teeth now, I’m going to wash my face, I’m going to have a shower, I’m going to go and put lip gloss on.” And I’m just lying there thinking, I can’t spend the next two weeks listening to this woman telling me what she’s going to do.

Is that the only thing that annoyed you about her?

She had a really annoying laugh. And she had this naive idea that if you insert yourself into the show with your Botox-enhanced lips and start prancing around the camp that people are going to love you.

Well, I think it showed pretty clearly that people got sick of her antics. They voted her into every challenge to make her uncomfortable and then when they had the first chance they voted her out.

What we imagine would be Keira’s thoughts right now…

So you were glad to see her go?

There’s no love lost between me and Keira. There was a picture [of her] from one of the trials the other day that I took as a souvenir and put up on the dart board – so the dart boards in there with Keira’s picture on the bullseye now with people throwing darts at it, so we got our revenge in the end.

What about when you come to Sydney if you run into her?

I made a vow that when I come to Sydney, as I do every week, I’ll be going nowhere near Double Bay just in case I run into her.

So you don’t regret any of the things you said to her in there or your fights over things like camp chores?

No. I’ve got no regrets at all. The only one I have is that I didn’t last until the end.
